| UFO PIZZA PARLOR |

Our First Encounter with UFO Pizza Parlor
Located at 103 N Brentwood
Lufkin, TX 75904
As I was driving into Super Wal-Mart here in Lufkin, I spotted this Pizza Parlor; the name in itself intrigued me. UFO Pizza. I like the X-Files, and am a Trek Fan. After spending too much money in Wal-Mart, My associate and I decided to try this place out. I personally was starving!

This being our first visit here, as we walked in the door, the scents of fresh Pizza was extraordinary. A young waiter, with a smiling face motioned for us to sit wherever, and he quickly delivered our Menu’s. When we opened the Menu it was all in Alien language. Such as Attack of the 50 FT Salad, Alien Eggs (Fried Cheese stuffed Jalapeno's, Cheese Pie in the Sky, The Hamborg, The Supreme Being, Lost in Space Lasagne, just to name a few choices. Me not being that up on my Alien, I definitely had to consult with my associate. Deciphering the Menu we decided to try a Pizza of our own creation. We both were hungry and ordered a large. The smiling waiter warned that the large was extremely larger, quoting the diameter. I rarely order by diameter so we went with our gut instinct, a Large! We ordered our drinks and Pizza and were just trying to take in all of the unique wall art, and neon signs. The whole Alien theme and atmosphere, all the way down to the serving dish the Pizza was presented on which was a flying saucer...well, at least that's what I thought it looked like, it was awesome! The smiling waiter was correct in saying the large was definitely a lot of Pizza for two people. Nonetheless, we dug in. The Pizza arrived in a timely manner and was piping hot just out of the brick oven. The smiling waiter was quiet friendly, he kept our glasses full and was very attentive; he was there when we needed him, but wasn't too imposing. The Pizza was mouth watering. Lots of everything! We ate as much as we possibly could without exploding, and definitely asked for a to go box. When we first sat down I keyed in on the dessert Menu...The Chocolate Fried Dough sounded great!...There was a Collossus of NYC Cheesecake, a Sin-Ammon Sensation, and Blue Bell Ice Cream. Needless to say neither my Associate of myself were able to order dessert. (My suggestion--Come just for the dessert and coffee sometime, and skip the very filling..."Food Menu") As we were leaving we took our time examining a bit closer some of the unique art on the walls. Very interesting....Well, it was unanimous; we will go back, this time bringing the grandchildren. Although there is a full service bar at the back of the parlor, it is very appropriate for family dining. The overall experience was an excellent one, and did not dip too far into my pocket book (it was my time to buy). OUR RATING:.......We give this Unique Pizza Parlor an out of this world... thumbs up!
